Every time we travel to Japan, we always make sure our last stop is Tokyo Disney Resort. It’s become a tradition for us. But during our previous visits, we spent way too much time on our phones—constantly trying to secure Premier Access or standby passes, and still ending up waiting in long lines. It honestly took away from just enjoying the parks. So for this trip, we finally decided to go all in and book the official Vacation Package. After a lot of research (and a bit of stress!), we chose the “Enjoy Lots of Attractions ― 2 Days” plan and stayed at the adorable Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel.
Booking Experience: Not as Easy as It Looks
I booked our package right when reservations opened on the website—and honestly, it was intense. Before booking, I spent days reading guides, tips, and strategies to prepare. I even had multiple devices ready because I knew timing was everything. I used both my phone and iPad, and surprisingly, my phone was much faster. I also kept reminding myself not to refresh or hit the back button (which made the whole process even more nerve-wracking). It really felt like a race against time. If you’re planning to book one of these packages, preparation is absolutely key.
What We Booked
Package: Enjoy Lots of Attractions ― 2DAYS
Hotel: Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel
Party size: 2 adults + 1 bed-share
Room type: Standard Room (Non-Smoking)
Cost Breakdown
Here’s exactly what we paid:
Adult: 100,000 yen × 2
Bed-share: 44,200 yen × 1
Total: 244,200 yen (tax included)
We chose the most affordable hotel option available, and honestly, it worked perfectly for us. Since we planned to spend most of our time in the parks at Tokyo Disney Resort, we prioritized the overall experience over a more luxurious stay. What’s Included in the Package
One of the best parts of the Vacation Package is everything that comes bundled in. Inside the package, we received:
18 Attraction tickets (pre-selected experiences for both parks)
3 Park Tickets at Tokyo Disneyland on Day 1
3 Park Tickets at Tokyo DisneySea on Day 2
Drink vouchers
1 Popcorn bucket voucher
3 Original Goods vouchers
Also, Toy Story Hotel guests can use the Fantasy Springs Entrance to Tokyo DisneySea (10 AM – closing). "Proof of Stay" confirmation will be given by the Toy Story Hotel front desk upon checkin.
We were able to pick up the package materials the day before check-in, around 3 PM, giving us time to walk around, explore the themed outdoor areas before officially checking in the next day.
Having the vouchers, tickets, and little extras made it feel more organized and premium than a regular Disney trip!
We redeemed our original goods vouchers at Tokyo DisneySea and picked up two Duffy bags, along with a blanket from Tokyo Disneyland. And for the popcorn bucket, we couldn’t resist choosing Duffy again :)
One of the best perks of the Tokyo Disney Vacation Package is the unlimited drinks, a voucher that can be used throughout the stay for free beverages—even specialty drinks are included.
Day 1 - Tokyo Disneyland:
We pre-booked the Beauty and the Beast ride, and chose Pooh’s Hunny Hunt and Monsters, Inc. for the other two eligible attractions—we didn’t get to experience on our first visit.
Being able to skip the regular lines was the best part. We saved so much time and didn’t have to spend it waiting in long queues.
We got so lucky—my daughter finally got to meet Rapunzel for the first time!
Day 2 - Tokyo DisneySea:
We pre-booked all the attractions at Fantasy Springs, including Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, and Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure. We really enjoyed all the rides.
Out of everything, I personally think the Peter Pan ride was the best, although the 3D effects can feel a bit dizzying at times. My daughter was especially brave and managed to ride them all without hesitation!
Was It Worth It?
This is the big question—and honestly, it depends on what kind of trip you want.
For us, the value came from guaranteed access to attractions—especially since my daughter really wanted to experience the Fantasy Springs rides. It also meant less time spent planning inside the parks, no rushing, and the ability to skip long lines. The structured experience was a huge plus, especially for first-timers or during busy seasons. For us, it was definitely worth it.
That said, it’s important to note that this is not a budget option. You’re paying for convenience and certainty. The booking process itself is also quite competitive and can be stressful.
Lastly, we really enjoyed shopping for some of the 20th anniversary Duffy & Friends merchandise collection at Tokyo DisneySea. A trip to Tokyo Disney just isn’t complete without a bit of shopping, right? 😊
