We arrived in Tokyo from Fukuoka around 5PM and made our way to the hotel. We thought it would be just a quick 10-minute walk from Shimbashi Station… but oh boy, the entrance was actually kind of tricky to find - definitely not as straightforward as we expected.
We stayed here for a few nights using redemption points through our Hilton Honors American Express — which made the stay feel even more worth it.

Location
The hotel is located in the Shiodome area, about a 10-minute walk to Shimbashi Station, a major hub that makes getting around Tokyo really easy. Alternatively, you can hop on the Yurikamome for just one stop from Shiodome (right outside the hotel) to Shimbashi.
There’s also an overpass that leads straight to Don Quijote, which is super handy for picking up snacks, souvenirs, or any last-minute essentials.
Plus, it’s just a short walk to the Ginza shopping district, so we found ourselves heading there quite a few times.
Service
One thing I’ll never forget — and honestly will always be grateful for — was what happened with my luggage. Somehow my luggage got locked and the TSA code just wouldn’t work anymore. I asked the staff at Conrad Tokyo if they could help, and right away they came to check it and brought it to their team. They told me they couldn’t promise anything, but they would try. At that point, I even said if they couldn’t open it, they could just cut the zipper and I’d deal with it later.
But to my surprise, within a few hours… they managed to open it without damaging my luggage at all! They even wrote a little note when they returned it. That level of care and effort really meant a lot to me. It’s not something you expect, and it just shows how far they go for their guests.
I’m honestly so grateful and would definitely stay here again because of this experience alone.
Our room with Tokyo Skytree view
Room & Little Details
We loved the view from our room — it overlooked the city, and we could even spot Tokyo Skytree from afar, which was especially beautiful at night.
Everything felt so luxurious here. The room itself was surprisingly spacious, and one small detail we really appreciated was the use of high-end amenities from Byredo — Mojave Ghost for the hand & body wash, shampoo, and lotion. It smelled amazing and made the whole stay feel even more elevated.
Conrad Tokyo had the cutest keepsakes, and my daughter was really into them…
Breakfast & Dining
Just like at other Hilton properties, we had access to the breakfast buffet on both mornings of our stay—and it exceeded our expectations.
There was a wide selection of both Western and Asian dishes, with plenty of variety each day. Breakfast ended up being one of the highlights for us, especially if it’s something you value when traveling. The stunning views from the dining area made the experience even more enjoyable.
Even with the slightly confusing entrance at first, the stay itself was really enjoyable. The location was convenient, the room was comfortable, and everything just felt easy and relaxing. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. It was impeccable, warm, and genuinely thoughtful — the kind that makes you feel truly taken care of.
Overall, this stay at Conrad Tokyo is one I’ll remember, and I would 100% come back again!
