I can't believe we're already here—my daughter starts kindergarten next month! It feels like just yesterday we were picking out baby gear, and now we're getting ready for this big milestone.
As a first-time kindergarten mom, I have to admit I was way more excited than I expected to shop for all of her school things. I kid you not—I was surprised by just how long the school supply list was! Once we checked everything off, I realized there were still a few extra things I wanted to get that weren't on the list but would make getting ready for school so much easier.
I'm sure most schools ask families to label everything their child brings to school, from pencils and crayons to water bottles and lunch boxes. With so many kids carrying similar supplies, having a good labeling system makes the whole process much easier and helps keep everything from getting mixed up.
